Camera Control

Audiocube provides keyboard, mouse, and on-screen controls for precise navigation of your scene, depending on how you like to work.
Keyboard and Mouse Commands

Move forward / back / left / right | W / S / A / D or Arrow keys or Left-drag or Right-drag in empty space |

On-Screen Camera Widget
Click the camera icon (upper-right toolbar) to show or hide the widget.
Element | Action | Result |
Axis cones | Click | Snap view to the chosen axis (front, top, side, etc.). |
Sphere | Click-drag | Rotate view around the current pivot. |
Centre cube | Click | Toggle Orthographic (2-D) view. |
Arrow / Eye / Scroll Button | Drag | Move, rotate, or change the height. |
ALT Mode (Orbit Around Selection)
Hold Alt with a device selected.
Camera pivot locks to the selected object.
Combine with V or Middle-mouse to orbit; use the mouse-wheel to zoom.
Follow Device
Use the follow mode to lock the camera direction to a selected object.
- Ctrl / ⌘ + F with a device selected: camera continuously faces that object.
- Press the shortcut again to cancel follow mode (or use a control to rotate the camera elsewhere (q/e/z/x/v/Middle mouse)).
These controls allow efficient inspection and placement of objects in any project size.
