Device Editor
The Device Editor provides detailed parameter control for every device type in Audiocube.
Location and Access
Opens in the right-hand panel (toggle the panel with F4).
Use the sub-button labelled Device Editor to switch to the editor view.
The right panel is shared with the Device Rack and Overload Protection; only one of these can be visible at a time.
Interface Structure
Area | Function |
Tab Strip (left side) | One tab per device type (Sampler, Emitter, etc.). Tabs appear only if at least one device of that type is selected. |
Parameter Pane | Displays all editable controls for the current device type. Panels within the pane can be collapsed to save space. |
Scroll Area | Use the mouse-wheel or drag the scrollbar to view additional controls when the pane exceeds the window height. |
Using the Editor
Select a device in the Stage or click it in the Device Rack.
The corresponding tab opens automatically, showing the device’s parameters.
Adjust values using knobs, sliders, drop-downs, or text fields as provided.
To switch between devices of the same type, select the next device; the pane contents update instantly.
Collapse or expand parameter groups as needed to focus on specific sections.
Notes
The editor always reflects the most recently selected device or multi-selection group.
All edits are applied in real time; no additional confirmation is required.
The Device Editor consolidates all per-device settings, ensuring rapid and organised adjustment of Samplers, Emitters, Tickers, and other device types.
