Importing Files

Audiocube makes it easy to import and manage audio files.
Audiocube uses the CubeLibrary folder as the master repository for all samples.
Any file placed in this folder (or its sub-folders) appears automatically in the Browser panel for immediate use.
Default Library Location
OS | Path |
Windows | C:\Users\<User>\AppData\LocalLow\NFK\Audiocube\CubeLibrary |
macOS | /Users/<User>/Library/Application Support/NFK/Audiocube/CubeLibrary |
Setting a Custom Library Path
Open Settings (gear icon or Ctrl / ⌘ + ,).
Click Choose Custom Folder
Use the custom folder window to pick a custom folder. Audiocube will look here for files to display.
Accept the changes.
(Use the console command set-project-folder <path> for the same result.)
Adding Audio Files
Press F1 (or choose View ▶ Browser) to open the Browser panel.
Click Open Folder to launch the CubeLibrary folder in your OS file manager.
Copy or move .wav and .mp3 files and folders into CubeLibrary.
Return to Audiocube. The Browser refreshes automatically; new files are now visible.
Supported Formats

More formats coming soon.
After import, drag any file from the Browser onto the Stage to create a Sampler pre-loaded with that clip, or drop the file onto an existing Sampler / Emitter waveform to replace its content.
