Recorder

Audiocube includes a built-in “tape-recorder” that captures the entire master output to a 48-kHz, 24-bit WAV file. Use it to archive performances, create stems, or export ideas for further mixing.
Opening the Recorder
Click the Record icon in the top-bar to reveal the Recording Panel.
Press Ctrl+R to toggle the window.
Recording a Session
Step | Action |
---|---|
1 Record | Press RECORD. The time counter starts and the level meters become active. |
2 Monitor | Keep peaks out of the red to avoid clipping (distortion is not audible in real-time). |
3 Stop | Click STOP when you are finished. A waveform preview of the take appears in the panel. |
Playback & File Management
Control | Function |
---|---|
Play | Audition the last take directly inside Audiocube. |
Open Folder | Launches your system file explorer with the Recordings directory pre-selected. From here you can rename, copy, or move the WAV file. |
Safety Reminder
Always press STOP before quitting Audiocube.
Closing the application while the recorder is running will invalidate the file and the take will be lost.
