Browser

The Browser Window is Audiocube’s central hub for organising, auditioning, and deploying your audio files. From here you can preview sounds, import new material, load samples into devices, and download sample packs from the core library.

What You Can Do

Open Library Folder

Launch your operating system’s file explorer at the Audio Library root.

Import Audio

Drag-and-drop or click Import to copy new audio files into the library.

Preview Clips

Audition any sound before committing it to the project.

Download Samples

Open the sample pack downloader to install the Audiocube core sample packs.

Navigate to Folders

The bottom bar presents a range of buttons for opening important folders in your OS (Audio library, recordings folder, project saves).

Importing Audio Files

You can easily import audio files.

  1. Click the "Import" button to open the library folder in your OS.

  2. Paste .wav or .mp3 files/folders into the library folder.

  3. Return to Audiocube.

  4. You will now see your imported files displayed in the browser.

Browsing Files

In the browser, simply click a folder to enter it, and then use the back button to return.

Use the searchbar to find specific folders and files by entering search terms.

Previewing Clips

  1. Select a Clip Click a filename; its waveform appears in the preview panel.

  2. Play / Stop Use the transport buttons to audition the file.

  3. Scrub Click anywhere on the waveform to jump to that position.

  4. Adjust Level Turn the Preview Volume knob to set an independent monitoring level (does not affect project playback).

Master the Browser Window and your sample management becomes as fluid as the rest of your Audiocube workflow.
