Device Rack

The Device Rack lists every device in the current scene and provides quick-access controls for each one.
Opening the Rack
Press F4 to open the Right-side Editor Panel.
In the panel header, click Device Rack (sub-toggle) if it is not already visible.
Layout
Devices are grouped under collapsible headings by type (Samplers, Emitters, Tickers, etc.).
Each entry shows the device name and a set of instant-action buttons.
Selected devices are outlined in the list for quick identification.
Basic Actions (per device)
On each row, there are individual controls for each device.
Button | Result |
Play | Trigger the device’s primary action (e.g., play a Sampler). |
Stop | Halt playback or node emission. |
Look At | Centres the camera on the device. |
Delete | Removes the device from the scene. |
Using the Rack
Select - Click a device in the list to select it in the Stage and open its Device Editor.
Multi-select - Use standard selection shortcuts in the 3D Scene (Shift + drag). All highlighted devices appear outlined in the Rack.
Collapse / Expand - Click a category heading to hide or reveal all devices of that type, keeping the list compact.
Resize - drag the panel edge to adjust width and height .
The Device Rack offers a consolidated view of the scene, enabling rapid control and navigation without searching the 3-D workspace.
